About this event

Are you a Veteran, Caregiver, or Family Member looking for support? Are you a family member or friend of a Veteran, looking for guidance on how to speak with a Veteran regarding mental health care or substance use?

Join Us as we hear from programs that offer supportive services to Veterans, their Families and Friends.

Vets4Warriors is a national peer-to-peer support network that has been connecting people, information, ideas and resources to generate powerful solutions for members of the military and veteran communities for more than five years. They are 100% staffed by trained veterans and members of the military community, their families or caregivers. https://www.vets4warriors.com/

Coaching into Care (CIC) is a free service offered for families and friends of Veterans. Licensed clinicians offer guidance and help for starting conversations with the Veteran in your life about their mental health or substance use and motivating them to seek treatment if it's needed. For more information please visit, https://www.mirecc.va.gov/coaching/.

Caregiver Action Network (CAN) is a non-profit organization providing education, peer support, and resources to family caregivers across the country free of charge. They are working to improve the quality of life for the more than 90 million Americans who care for loved ones with chronic conditions, disabilities, disease, or the frailties of old age. https://www.caregiveraction.org/.
