RAVE to Washington State Ferries and staff for serving the hundreds of Seahawks fans returning from downtown the other evening. The new terminal was able to accommodate the crowds, and we were greeted by prepared and cheerful ferry employees. What a fine ending to a great day of football.
RANT to lawn care companies and owners of businesses and homes who use leaf blowers to simply blow the leaves off their property into the street. Would you throw your garbage or lawn clippings into the street? These leaves wind up clogging the street drains and cause flooding which can negatively affect many people.
RANT to small people with big dogs. If your dog can literally drag you into the street as it tries to get at me and my dog on the other side, then you need to rethink the parameters of pet ownership.
