Availability of Preliminary Survey Findings for the Arctic for 2019

NOAA Fisheries today released preliminary findings from its 2019 surveys in the Arctic. 

The surveys include:

  • Ice Seal and Polar Bear Aerial Survey Test
  • Groundfish, Crab, Bottom-Dwelling Species Survey in Southeastern Bering Sea
  • Arctic Larval Fish and Plankton Community Survey
  • Aerial Survey of Bowhead Abundance

  • Arctic Ecosystem Assessment
  • Aerial Survey of Arctic Marine Mammals
  • Surface/Mid-water Column Community Survey
  • Ecosystem Surveys in Bering Sea
  • Passive Acoustic Whale Monitoring
