DEC Extends Public Comment Period for 6 NYCRR Part 248, Use of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel and Best Available Retrofit Technology for Heavy Duty Vehicles
Due to the unprecedented nature of Covid-19, Governor Cuomo has issued a PAUSE Order directing non-essential meetings/gatherings to be suspended or canceled. See Executive Order 202 and subsequent additions. As a result, at this time DEC is canceling the previously scheduled public hearings for the following proposed rulemakings and extending the comment period for these rulemakings for 30 days.
Notice is hereby given that the hearing for revisions to 6 NYCRR Part 248 Use of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel and Best Available Retrofit Technology for Heavy Duty Vehicles, scheduled for April 10, 2020, at 11 a.m. at NYSDEC, 625 Broadway, Public Assembly Room 129A/B, Albany, NY 12233 is canceled, and that the public comment period for this rulemaking is extended until Friday, May 15, 2020.
