The opportunity to own your outcome is essential to fostering and sustaining a more collaborative working relationship. Using the FMCS Grievance Mediation process, you can bring the vast majority of your grievances to resolution quickly, creatively, and collaboratively.  In this lively and interactive session, using case studies taken from actual grievances, we will discuss and explore how an arbitrator might analyze and decide and contrast that with the  agreements that came about as a result of the parties working together with the assistance of a mediator.

This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to see the creativity that can be utilized through the mediation process. Throughout the country mediators are assisting our customers resolve grievances efficiently and cost effectively. The parties also learn through this process how to better evaluate the merits of their case. This workshop should benefit any party to a collective bargaining agreement who wants to resolve issues, build better relationships, all while saving time and money.
