Weavers Ward By Election | Thursday 12 August 2021
Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists for the office of Councillor for Weavers Ward following the sad passing of Councillor John Pierce.
A request has now been received from two electors for a by election to be held and the Returning Officer Will Tuckley has determined that the date of poll will be on Thursday 12 August 2021 if contested.

This timetable covers the by-election poll scheduled to take place on 12 August 2021.
The days which aren't counted in calculating the timetable are Saturday, Sunday, bank holidays and any day appointed for public thanksgiving or mourning.
Please be aware that the timetable may change in the event of days being appointed for public thanksgiving or mourning.
This timetable has been developed based on the legislation as it currently stands and so it may be subject to change. We will update and re-publish the timetable as appropriate if further legislation is made.
