Registration for the NASCSP 2022 Annual Training Conference is now CLOSED!

October 24 – 25 | Pre-Conference State Monitor’s Training

The NASCSP State Monitor’s Training pre-conference event is designed to improve monitoring within the CSBG and WAP networks. The training will provide an overview of why monitoring is important and how it relates to program improvement and accountability. It also includes a brief history of WAP and CSBG, an in-depth review of monitoring standards and requirements, fiscal monitoring, and sharing of best practices.

The 2022 Annual Training Conference offers valuable opportunities for professionals from around the country to come together and discuss strategies for meeting new challenges in improved performance, innovation, and accountability in the fight to change the face of poverty across the nation. The theme for this year’s conference is Agents of Change.

The 2022 Annual Training Conference is separated into the following two tracks:

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) CSBG initiatives. It also highlights best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement. Sessions include information on CSBG CARES, ROMA, the CSBG Annual Report, and much more.

The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) WAP initiatives, grantee management, and provides a wealth of information, tools, and resources to enhance and improve grantee administration and implementation of the WAP. Sessions include updates and discussions of recent DOE WAP policy, program notices, guidance, and much more.
