You can still get involved by taking an online survey: Next steps & upcoming opportunitiesMPRB staff will review community feedback on priority projects for the park, and plan more opportunities in September for community members to get involved in planning improvements. Watch for announcements once details are confirmed.
Related improvements projects, now in progress!35th Street Pedestrian Safety Improvements - City of Minneapolis Public Works Street improvements adjacent to Powderhorn Park are designed to help end crashes and promote safer driving. Construction anticipated in fall 2022. For more information, visit the City's Vision Zero Safety Improvements webpage: https://www.minneapolismn.gov/government/projects/35th-st-safety-improvements/ Green Central Safe Routes to School (SRTS) - City of Minneapolis This project includes pedestrian- and bicycle- related improvements for people of all ages and abilities along East 34th Street and 10th/11th Avenues South. These include a bikeway for safe and comfortable connections to Green Central Elementary School, Powderhorn Park, and other key area destinations. Construction anticipated in 2024.
