Leeds City Council of Sanctuary Listening Workshop

Leeds City Council is working towards becoming a council of sanctuary. If you are a refugee or are seeking asylum, we want to hear from you!

The City of Sanctuary UK is working towards promoting welcome to refugees and people seeking asylum. They have an awards programme and one of the award schemes is the City of Sanctuary Local Authority Network Award.

To better understand the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum in Leeds, we invite people with lived experience to take part in a discussion.

Date/time: 22nd July 2024 9:30am-1:30pm

Venue: Leeds City College Conservatoire, 3 Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7PD (opposite the city bus station) Click here for directions

Your comments really matter to us and we will use the feedback from the day to help improve future services across Leeds. So your voices can be heard, the discussions will take place in smaller groups to start with, then all groups will come together at the end of the event, so ideas can be shared.

If you prefer to share your feedback in writing, please complete the anonymous survey below.

We thank you in advance for supporting Leeds City Council to work towards becoming an awarded member of the City of Sanctuary.
