If selected, you must meet the following conditions:
The GS-11 salary range starts at $64,009 per year and the GS-12 salary range starts at $76,721 per year if you meet the following qualifications. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Generally, first time appointees to Federal civilian service have their salary set at the beginning rate of the grade for which they are selected; unless prior approval has been received to adjust the salary based on superior qualifications of the applicant.
GS-11: To qualify, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience providing assistance with applying concepts and principles of Real Property Management in order to analyze data and conditions related to real property assets and provide recommendations to senior-level asset managers.
For the GS-11 level: Education may be substituted for the specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M, if related. Equivalent combinations of education and experience is qualifying at this grade level.
GS-12: To qualify, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience independently applying concepts and principles of Real Property Management in order to analyze data and conditions related to real property assets and provide recommendations to senior-level asset managers. For the GS-12 level: There is no substitution of education at this level.
