On September 21 -23, U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm will convene the first Global Clean Energy Action Forum - the premier clean energy event of the year. We want to showcase YOUR technologies and innovative solutions at the Technology Showcase, held alongside the Forum.

• What is the next big thing in clean energy technology?
• Are you going to join Secretary Granholm and the world in Pittsburgh? 

At this global event, which includes the 13th Clean Energy Ministerial and 7th Mission Innovation ministerial, clean energy innovators are invited to showcase your latest technological advancements on the world stage. This showcase presents a unique opportunity for exhibitors to show global government and corporate leaders how their innovative solutions will help meet global clean energy goals, increase business connections, and attract the next generation of the clean energy workforce. 

Only engaging exhibits with interactive and experiential elements in line with the Fortum themes will be accepted. The theme is simple: Rapid Innovation and Deployment. DOE encourages technology showcases to explore how the concepts of jobs and community, technology transformation, and unprecedented deployment contribute to this goal. 

The Forum will take place in Pittsburgh, America’s Steel City and registration will be open to the public. Participants include Energy Ministers and government leaders from around the world, CEOs, philanthropic organizations, academia, industry groups and more. The Forum will  

include fantastic opportunities for networking and for representatives from industry, research institutions, finance institutions, organized labor, early career researchers, policy makers, business leaders, and philanthropic organizations to drive clean energy innovation and deployment. The inaugural event will also work towards empowering communities and the next generation of the clean energy workforce, recognizing their integral role in the energy transition. 

DOE is accepting clean energy technology showcase proposals until June 30th.
