EL MSDS Updates May be Needed

If any changes are necessary, please submit Student Record Maintenance records containing an As of Date on or before March 20, 2020 and certify no later than Friday, June 26 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Please see the MDE EL Updates document or the  MDE Spotlight for further information.

Clarification on Address Data in MSDS for Pandemic-EBT Mailings

CEPI continues to work with MDE and DHHS to clarify address field use in mailing Pandemic-EBT cards. Please note the following:

  • In cases where Address Line 1 and Line 2 contain two different street addresses, DHHS will only use data from Address Line 1.
  • If both a PO Box and a Street Address are entered in Address Line 1 and Line 2 (either order), both will be used for mailings.

Please continue to review your data and make corrections by May 26 in order for changes to be reflected for the next mailing. For a schedule of cutoff dates, please refer to MDE's Pandemic-EBT web page.

FID: Budgetary Assumptions Open

The Budgetary Assumptions Collection opens June 1 in the FID. The Michigan Department of Treasury will contact districts starting June 1 informing them if they are required to report. Districts required to report will have until 11:59 PM EDT on July 7 to complete their submissions.

Support material is posted on the FID web page. For questions about submitting data in FID, contact CEPI customer support. For program and policy questions, contact Navneet Adhi with Treasury, AdhiN@michigan.gov.

SID Collection Now Open

The SID collection opened May 15 and will remain open through the June 30 deadline. For important information regarding your SID submission, please reference the SID web page.

Please note, the SID recently migrated to MILogin for user access. To ensure you are able to complete the required reporting, it is important that you check your access. If you do not have access to the SID, refer to the MILogin migration announcement.

MI School Data User Migration: Action Needed by June 30

MI School Data secure users will need a Third Party MILogin account to access secure data when the new site is launched this summer. Users who do not already have this type of MILogin account must create one with the same email address as their original account prior to the migration to ensure continuous access to secure data. If this is not done by June 30, users will need to fill out a security form and request a new account after the new MI School Data site is launched. Please refer to the MILogin/MI School Data Instructions for information on how to set up your MILogin account now to ensure continued access to your data.

Updates on MI School Data

Visit MI School Data to view updates to the Student Pathways and Student Pathways Aggregate for High School reports, the Parent Dashboard and school contact information on multiple reports. The Non-Resident Status and Special Education Data Portraits reports have been updated in preview and will be publicly available within a week. See details of these updates and upcoming reports on the MI School Data News and Updates page.
