The SBA’s Empower to Grow (E2G) Program is authorized by the Small Business Act to provide high-quality assistance to eligible small businesses.
Who is Eligible for E2G Training?
To be eligible for E2G services, a small business owner must be:
- Certified 8(a) participant
- HUBZone certified small business
- Economically disadvantaged women-owned small business
- Small business located in areas of high unemployment or low income
- Small business owned by low-income individuals
Small business owners must ensure that they qualify as small under 13 CFR Subpart 121 – Small Business Size Regulations and located in urban or rural areas with a high proportion of unemployed or low-income individuals, or which are owned by such low-income individuals.
