Researchers Meeting Information

All sessions will be held VIRTUALLY this year!

We will convene the 2021 Researchers Meeting on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 14 and through the day on Thursday, July 15 following the 46th Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop.

Theme

The 2021 Researchers Meeting will focus on the theme of Advances in Longitudinal Disaster Recovery Research. Plenary and thematic sessions will highlight methodological frontiers in longitudinal disaster research while also focusing on empirical, theoretical, and modeling advances in the study of long-term recovery. Concurrent sessions will be structured to provide researchers with the opportunity to present whatever hazards and disaster topics they are currently engaged with. The meeting will also include training sessions and plenty of virtual networking opportunities for participants.

The complete schedule for the 2021 Researchers Meeting is available online. It includes over 30 sessions and nearly 150 orginal papers!
