Try booking at one of our 25 permanent donor centres instead of our community-based venues. They have more availability and you can sometimes find last-minute appointments.

Please book in the months ahead - your donation will be just as valuable then.

If you are O negative or B negative and can’t make it to a donor centre please give us a call on 0300 123 23 23 to help find the next best appointment for you.

To start giving blood, you first need to sign up as a blood donor. You can then book an appointment at a time and venue that suits you.

We appreciate that life gets in the way sometimes, but please try and stick to your appointment if you can. 

If you do need to cancel, please give us at least 3 days' notice and reschedule for another time. Your donation at this time of year is particularly precious.
