Some marriages are made in heaven. Some are just made up. Our work w/ U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) crushed a marriage fraud ring where U.S. citizens were paid to marry aliens. Under Secretary Kristi Noem, fraudsters are walking out in handcuffs. Buying a spouse doesn't make you a citizen!

USCIS worked alongside U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) , Diplomatic Security Service, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland to dismantle a major marriage fraud operation that recruited American citizens into bogus marriages with aliens for immigration benefits. USCIS in Los Angeles identified an individual with an active DEA warrant for participating in a drug conspiracy involving the distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine in Colo. The criminal alien was evading justice using an alias but in coordination with United States Marshals Service was apprehended and now off the streets. We remain steadfast in supporting the mission to make America safe again.

This partnership resulted in the arrest of 5 TdA gang members wanted for 3 dozen retail thefts in central Fla.
