OpenSesame Offers Free Courses on Illness Prevention and Working Remotely

During this unprecedented time, Technology Association of Oregon will be featuring the benefits and value that TAO member companies can provide to our greater community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dean Rosenberg of Open Sesame offers up a list of free courses the company has created around coronavirus preparedness, infection control and illness prevention, and remote working.

TAO Member Company: Open Sesame

Give us a short intro to your business:
We help develop the world's most productive and admired workforces. With the most comprehensive catalog of eLearning courses from the world's top publishers, we are here to help you every step of the way, from finding courses, mapping them to your core competencies, syncing them with your LMS to increasing utilization and improving your L&D programs. Not only will you have the flexibility of multiple purchasing options from OpenSesame, but you'll also find it simple to use and administer your eLearning courses.

What resources can your business offer the community during the COVID pandemic?:
OpenSesame has curated a list of 15 free courses about coronavirus preparedness, infection control and illness prevention, and remote working for organizations to use to educate their employees. These courses are made available as a public service, free of charge through 15 May 2020. Please use them to help your employees, members, partners, and families reduce their exposure and the spread of the virus. Immediate education and containment are key to saving lives.

TAO and your members can request their free courses here: https://go.opensesame.com/free-offer.

What is the best way for the community to get in touch?:
The TAO community can get in touch by filling out the form here https://go.opensesame.com/free-offer, or by reaching out to us directly at +1 (503) 808-1268 or info@opensesame.com.

What's your favorite way to pass the time during self-quarantine?:
Personally, I have been passing the time with card games, movies, and walks around the neighborhood. OpenSesame is also doing a great job of enabling our employees to socialize via webcam with daily activities like meditation exercises, stretching and yoga sessions, a virtual lunchroom, and even guided house tours!

What's one thing that helps you stay positive or gives you hope during difficult times?:
The collective effort by the community and many companies to proactively take steps to reduce the spread of the virus has given me hope that this will pass and we will come out stronger on the other side.
