CSG Training Opportunity Aims to Improve Local Mental Health Responses
This winter, the Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center is offering free virtual, intensive training to three jurisdictions at the municipal and county level to help reduce the number of people with mental illnesses who are arrested and booked into jail. Selected jurisdictions will leave this training with concrete steps for future action.

This position is responsible for the management of consulting, training and technical assistance projects at the intersection of justice and health policy. The Administrator will work independently with both internal staff and external partners, agencies, consultants, trainers and organizations to accomplish this work.

Deputy Director, Harlem Community Justice Center
The Harlem Community Justice Center (HCJC) is an operating project of the Center for Court Innovation and serves as a community court in East Harlem. HCJC includes a NYC housing court and offers a range of programs to address community needs and issues, including services to increase housing stability, eviction prevention, as well as innovative youth and community based programming.

Reporting to the Project Director, the Deputy Director will provide clinical and operational leadership for all program services at the Harlem Community Justice Center. The Deputy Director will be a thought partner for the Project Director, an integral part of the Justice Center’s management team, and will foster a culture promoting teamwork, innovative ideas, and excellence in service delivery.
