South Staffordshire Community Safety Partnership is working to make South Staffordshire a safe place to live, work and visit.

We recognise the impact that crime and anti-social behaviour can have in our communities, therefore we work closely together to reduce crime, the fear of crime and improve the quality of life for local people through the Community Safety Partnership Plan 2023-2026 

Community Safety Priorities in South Staffordshire for the forthcoming 2023-2026 Community Safety Plan :

  • Cross border crime – focus on Serious Acquisitive Crime (Vehicle Crime)
  • Domestic Abuse (including Violence Against Women and Girls)
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Perception vs Reality (Fear of crime)
  • Themes: Community Cohesion, Rural Crime, Fraud, Road Safety, Drug use/dealing and Health and Wellbeing

Terms and Conditions for the Community Safety Survey competition January-February 2024 

1.The promoter is: South Staffordshire District Council whose registered office is at Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, South Staffordshire. WV8 2BW 

2.The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 10 and above. 

3.There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 

4.By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

5.To enter the competition include your email address on the survey form when you respond. 

6.Closing date for entry is Friday February 23rd, 2024. After this date then no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 

7.No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

8.The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: 

Complete the Community Safety Survey in the GovDelivery newsletter and include your email address for you to be entered. 

Without an email address you cannot be entered into the competition. 

9. The promoter will retain your e-mail address on a secure server until the competition winner has been drawn. 

your information will not be used for any purpose other than those stated in terms and conditions and for the purposes of contacting you in the event of a successful prize draw entry. 

your information will be held within secure systems and locations, with appropriate levels of security, that comply with relevant data protection legislation and our Data Protection Policy. 

we will not give your information to anyone without your consent unless the law and our policies allow/require us to do so. 

10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 

11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 

12. The prize is as follows: 

The winner will receive a Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) - Satin Nickel 

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternative will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 

The Council reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. 

13. Winners will be chosen by a computerized randomizer. 

14. The winner will be notified on their email address within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Council reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 

15. The Council will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected. 

16. The Council’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England]. 

18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Ring or any other organisation. You are providing your information to South Staffordshire District Council and not to any other party.
