I feel for the person that left a bad comment (Norma)We pray things go better for her & hers.
My Husband has had tremendous help from the VA. We are truly blessed. He gets all his meds & treatment through the Milwaukee VA. We came from Illinois & here in Wisconsin at the VA they have everything he needs, we don’t have to travel miles & miles for specialty clinics, ex. Eyes or Dental, Everything is right here!! And they treat him WELL!! Keep up the GREAT WORK MILWAUKEE!! We’re very pleased !! If we have a problem they solve it!!

This is a poor “benefit” if you take into account the appoint reminders not being mailed out for months now. Your efforts to “help” veterans would be better spent on ensuring our medications are being delivered on time. The VA is a joke on vets who came back alive. I’m disappointed & saddened at how little this country actually cares about the physical & mental health of veterans and how insanely hypocritical the “support the troops” bumper stickers are.

I’m sorry that you’re having such difficulty. Sometimes things go south. And we know from experience that government agencies and VA medical is slow moving. Thus the term red tape.

But I’m proud to say that I have found many good benefits within the VA. They helped me when no one else would.

Not to mention I received a free haircut because I’m a vet. And a free car wash as well as a nice lunch for Veterans Day. It was the VA and their emails that provided such a benefit.

Sometimes it’s best to place your energy overcoming adversity rather than just simply complaining. If you must complain to provide good input, do so in a positive way that works towards restoration. See what you can do to help. Maybe Volunteer

I have to agree with you. Perhaps it’s partially because most people don’t know that the VA is not part of DoD. This means that increasing the military budget does nothing for the VA.
