Important Submission Guidelines!

Alert: Due to planned DOJ financial management system upgrades, JustGrants will be unavailable for users from Friday, May 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. ET to Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 10 a.m. ET. Applicants must submit the required documents in Grants.gov by the Grants.gov deadline to proceed with the final application submission in JustGrants. Applicants will not be able to finalize their application in JustGrants if the Grants.gov deadline is missed. Applicants are encouraged to submit all application materials at least 48-72 hours prior to application deadlines to allow time to correct any problems or errors.

The purpose of each fellowship is to make important policy and programmatic contributions in a focus area of criminal justice.  Fellows will collaborate with BJA and DOJ staff members to provide critical outreach, data, research, and subject-matter expertise to inform the development of new BJA strategies and programs to benefit the field.

FY 2022 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

In FY 2022, applications will be submitted to the Department of Justice in a two-step process.

  • Step 1: Applicants will submit a SF-424 and a SF-LLL in Grants.gov.
  • Step 2: Applicants will be invited to submit the full application including attachments in JustGrants.
