The U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) announced its Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program for fiscal year 2023. The grant program provides financial and technical assistance to states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and Native American tribal governments to implement new or enhance the operations of existing veterans treatment courts. Applicants are required to complete a two-step submission process; more information can be found on page three of the Notice of Funding Opportunity. About the Grant Program The Veterans Treatment Court Discretionary Grant Program is designed to support veterans treatment courts in the following categories: - Category 1: Planning and Implementation Grants
