In honor of National Poetry Month, we'll be discussing They Call Me Güero!
Welcome to the land of virtual book clubs! In order to take the journey with us, first sign up (make sure to include your correct email so you can receive your zoom password for our meeting). Then you'll need to check out a copy of the book, They Call Me Güero: A Border Kid's Poems from Hoopla (new to Hoopla? Watch this tutorial) and read it before Saturday, April 25!
If registration for the book club Ms. Jessica and Ms. Louise are leading becomes full, have no fear! Reach out to a few of your friends or classmates and make a plan to discuss They Call Me Güero with them! I recommend using Google Hangouts (new to Google Hangouts? Watch this tutorial). Here are some book club discussion questions to use as your guide!
