SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
To qualify, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies AND one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service as described below:
IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to the Basic Requirements listed above, specialized experience isexperience that demonstrates information and communications technology (ICT) accessibility expertise, and experience delivering technical assistance and advice government-wide to federal agencies on the design, development, acquisition, and implementation of technical accessibility standards for ICT procurement, development and maintenance, necessary to ensure agencies’ compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. This should include a working knowledge of the latest developments and initiatives in the digital accessibility arena, including currency in accessibility testing protocols and experience with the U.S. Government Trusted Tester Program and the related ICT Baseline.
