Description:

In March, April and maybe even May 2020, it might have made sense to cancel and postpone hearings, meetings, training sessions due to the pandemic.  Who knew it would last this long?  Six months into it, it seems clear that we must learn and adjust to doing a whole more of our work in front of a laptop. What if not everyone has access to a computer?  What if there are handouts? Will we get hacked? How will we know if the participants are even listening?  From choosing the platform to setting the ground rules, from security to keeping folks engaged, there is a lot to think about.  In this introductory course, we will cover the basics and offer some best practices for how to prepare for, set up, and conduct successful hearings, meetings, and training online.
