This Spring, weVENTURE WBC is hosting an informative three-part series on how you as a small business can leverage Government Funding Opportunities to build the business of your dreams.

In our first session, we will help you explore the Small Business Innovation Research Program.  The SBIR program has over $4 billion in annual funding opportunities, intended to help small businesses conduct research and development.  Every federal agency has SBIR funding opportunities, meaning this is a fantastic opportunity for innovative entrepreneurs across all industries.

Speaking will be Lawrence Pollack, DoD/Chemical and Biological Defense (CBD) SBIR/STTR Program Manager; Amy Beaird, Program Director at Cenfluence (a program of The Florida High Tech Corridor) and Mike Vinje, Small Business Technology Manager at Kennedy Space Center.

Learn more about this program and how SBIR funding has helped launch new businesses right here on the Space and Treasure Coasts. https://www.sbir.gov/
