Youth Art Banner

Roseville Utilities' youth art contest is back for 2023 and we want you to get creative again. From now until September 15, we want you to break out your crayons, color pencils, paints, digital drawing pads, and any other medium you choose to show us how you see your superheroes from Roseville Utilities (garbage, water, wastewater, and electric).

Utility Superheroes

Using the theme “Utility Superheroes,” show us how our utility workers keep Roseville clean and thriving. Some ideas to get you going are:

• Delivering clean water
• Keeping sewer pipes flowing
• Saving energy throughout the year
• Composting or collecting solid waste

You can also feature what trucks we use to provide service – utility line trucks, garbage trucks, vactor trucks, pipe scope trucks, and dump trucks, but focus mainly on the utility superhero. You can choose one utility or all four!

Selection criteria

Entries will be screened based on message, merit, creativity, and originality by Roseville Utilities staff. We will select three finalists from each age group that will be put to a Community Choice vote on social media. The highest voted contestant from each age group will be named a Community Choice winner.

• 4 and under
• 5 to 8 years old
• 9 to 12 years old
• 13 to 17 years old

Prizes and recognition: Finalists will receive a $50 gift card to an art supply store, while Community Choice winners will receive a $100 gift card. All finalists will receive a framed certificate, as well as their art included in a 12-month calendar.
