The Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. initiative is a bold initiative launched in 2019 that aims to substantially reduce new HIV infections in the U.S. by scaling up four science-based strategies: diagnose, treat, prevent, and respond. The initiative has yielded important reductions in HIV transmission.
