Military Community Youth Ministries/Club Beyond

Club Beyond serves at locations with nearly 80,000 military teens. More than 90 staff along with hundreds of volunteer leaders are working in more than 50 military communities around the world.

Military Families for High Standards

Military Families for High Standards is a core group of diverse former and current military spouses, whose experience and expertise are invaluable in the effort to combat the educational challenges faced by military-connected students.

Military Child Education Coalition is a 501(c)(3) global, nonprofit organization focused exclusively on the well-being and needs of America’s almost four million military and veteran-connected children, specifically in the areas of academic opportunity and excellence, school transition support, and developmental needs. Our goal is to ensure that every child grows and thrives through good and challenging times in order to be college, workforce, and ultimately, life-ready.

Military OneSource provides a wealth of parenting resources, benefits and programs to help manage a military parent's journey through childhood and adolescents. Whether it's finding quality child care, learning about adoption, helping your kids excel in school or connecting to resources, Military OneSource is here for you.

Sesame Street for Military Families

Sesame Street for Military Families is an 11+ yearlong initiative to address the ongoing needs unique to military families with young children through all the milestones of their life including deployments, homecomings, relocation, injuries, grief, transitioning into civilian life and more.

United Through Reading

United Through Reading offers service members the opportunity to be video-recorded reading storybooks to children at home during separations and deployments. At more than 200 recording locations worldwide, service members can read to the children who are special to them on military bases and outposts, deployed U.S. Navy ships, U.S. Coast Guard cutters and at select USO centers.

The Barry Robinson Center

The Barry Robinson Center (BRC) offers a residential treatment program for children, ages 6-17, with mental health issues, including a dual diagnosis program for teens with substance abuse issues.  Children and adolescents from military connected families will find a supportive community at BRC.  Our treatment programs have been designed to help our residents from military connected families find understanding and acceptance, which contributes to their success in treatment.

TUTOR.com/military

The Department of Defense provides online tutoring and homework help via tutor.com/military at no charge to eligible U.S. military service members and their grades K-12 children living around the world. Students can connect to an expert tutor online 24/7 for one-to-one help in real time with assignments, test prep, proofreading and more in over 40 different subjects. Practice tests, including for the ASVAB, and Professional Military Education assistance is also available.

Army & Air Force Exchange Services

The Exchange is the 56th largest retail organization in the U.S. whose earnings provide dividends to Quality-of-Life programs. The Exchange is part of the Department of Defense and is directed by a Board of Directors, responsible to the Secretaries of the Army and Air Force through the Chiefs of Staff.

Army Emergency Relief

Army Emergency Relief (AER) is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of its Own." When life's unexpected emergencies arise, AER is there.

Army Fisher Houses

Since 1991 Fisher Houses have been serving military families during times of medical crisis. Fisher Houses enables families to stay together and relax in a 'home away from home' atmosphere, at no costs to them.

Commissaries

The Defense Commissary Agency operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Authorized patrons purchase items that are variably priced plus a 5-percent surcharge.

Luke's Wings

Luke's Wings is a national nonprofit that provides travel services for families of those wounded in the military that are hospitalized at medical and rehabilitation centers. By purchasing travel agency services and travel tickets for loved ones, Luke's Wings provides an immediate and invaluable service to the families of our men andwomen at arms.

Military OneSource Financial - Counseling

Military OneSource is a confidential Department of Defense-funded program providing comprehensive information on every aspect of military life at no cost to active duty, National Guard, and reserve members, and their families which includes tax free services and financial counseling to help you master your money.

Gradifi

Gradifi provides its financial wellness benefits at no cost to AUSA Members. Services help address your student loan debt and college savings plans, including a learning center and student loan and college planning counseling with 1:1 counselors through American Student Assistance® (ASA). ASA is a non-profit that helps you decide if refinancing is right for you. Counselors do not recommend a specific provider.  Visit ausa.org/gradifi to sign up.

The eKnowledge Program - Free SAT and ACT test prep materials

Prepare for upcoming SATs and ACTs with the SAT and ACT PowerPrep™ program. Members, spouses, and family members receive valuable courses for a small fee to cover the cost of streaming and customer support. All fees are reinvested to improve the program.  The SAT and ACT PowerPrep™ Program works on any Internet-enabled device. Highlights include 74+ hours of video instruction and thousands of interactive diagnostic lessons and questions. Plus, chat with teachers live and explore the new expanded math section.  LSAT prep materials are also available.

The American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association

The American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association (AAFMAA) is the longest-standing not-for-profit association that empowers military families with affordable financial solutions including, life insurance, investment management, residential mortgages, and survivor assistance. In addition to offering outstanding life insurance products and unmatched member benefits, AAFMAA provides Financial Planning, Investment Management and Trust Administration Services to its members. 140 years later, AAFMAA continues to deliver the financial services needed today “to aid the families of the deceased members in a prompt, simple and substantial manner” tomorrow.

Heroes Linked

Heroes Linked is a resource and opportunity for veterans, transitioning service members, military spouses, and Gold Star families to gain personal professional development and career guidance through a national network of volunteer private sector professionals for the enhancement of their post-military employment and career prospects.

Hiring Our Heroes is a nationwide initiative to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities.

Institute for Veterans and Military Families

The IVMF and its staff of more than 70 professionals deliver class-leading programs in career, vocational and entrepreneurship education and training, providing service members, veterans and their families with the skills needed to be successful in education, work and life. The IVMF also coordinates comprehensive collective impact strategies; and works with communities and nonprofits to enhance service delivery for veterans and their families.

Military OneSource/ Career Exploration

Military OneSource provides practical guidance to military spouses exploring new careers offering strategies on seeking federal employment, telecommuting work and other portable careers. You’ll also find comprehensive education career support through the Spouse Education and Career Opportunities, or SECO, program and other resources.

The Rosie Network

The Rosie Network’s mission is strengthening military families through entrepreneurial programs and support services, empowering military spouses, transitioning service members and veteran entrepreneurs toward financial stability and self-sufficiency.

The Employment Readiness Program (ERP)

ERP offers resources to help with career planning and job search. Military spouses or Family member who just moved to a new installation, Retiree, or DoD civilian looking for new opportunities, or active duty Military, active Reserve, National Guard member, or Wounded Warrior, are all eligible.

Military Community

AmeriForce

AmeriForce Media, a service disabled veteran owned small business, is the only U.S. military magazine publisher reaching over 3 million active duty members and their spouses/families, as well as members and spouses serving in all seven branches of the Reserves and National Guard. Military Families Magazine publishes 10x per year and is sent by written request to over 1,200 on-base locations nationwide (e.g. daycare centers, family service centers, MWR facilities and more).

Homes For Our Troops

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post – 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents out of every dollar has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.

Military Spouse Advocacy Network

Military Spouse Advocacy Network's mission is to create stronger military families through education, empowerment and support. MSAN is the fastest growing network of advocates and volunteers serving military families, service members and caregivers.

National Military Family Association

The National Military Family Association is the leading nonprofit dedicated to serving the families who stand behind the uniform. Since 1969, NMFA has worked to strengthen and protect millions of families through its advocacy and programs. They provide spouse scholarships, camps for military kids, and retreats for families reconnecting after deployment and for the families of the wounded, ill, or injured.

Operation Deploy Your Dress

Founded in 2015, by five Army spouses at Fort Bliss, TX, Operation Deploy Your Dress is a 100% donation based, volunteer run, military spouse founded non-profit.ODYD  provides free formalwear to military ID card holders in an effort to boost the attendance at military balls and build camaraderie in military communities. To date, approximately 8,000 dresses have been “deployed” saving service members and their families over $800,000. ODYD boasts six brick and mortar shops at Army installations across the country.

Hope For The Warriors

For the past 12 years, Hope For The Warriors has been dedicated to serving those who have served. As a Veteran Service Organization, we provide a full-cycle of care to restore self, family, and hope to post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen. We believe those touched by military service can succeed at home by restoring their sense of self, family, and hope. Nationally, Hope For The Warriors provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources.  For today, tomorrow, and years to come, we will strive to meet the changing needs of service members and their families. Hope For The Warriors is a family, united by our shared conviction of honor and sacrifice.

TAPS

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. TAPS provideS comfort and hope through the national military survivor helpline available 24/7, our national peer support network, casework assistance, grief camps for children, retreats and survivor seminars for adults, and connections to unlimited local grief resources, all at no cost to the survivor.

PsychArmor

PsychArmor Institute is a national nonprofit that provides FREE online education and support for all Americans to effectively engage with the military community. Whether the learner is an employer, educator, caregiver, healthcare provider, volunteer or community member, PsychArmor 2.0 has a comprehensive FREE course library!

Vet Tix

Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches of currently-serving Military and Veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA. We team up with major sports teams, leagues, promoters, organizations, venues and everyday event ticket holders to provide free and discounted tickets to currently serving and veterans of all branches of the US military.

Tuesday’s Children

Tuesday’s Children provides a lifetime of healing for families who have been forever changed by terrorism, military conflict or mass violence. Through a time-tested, long-term approach, Tuesday’s Children programming serves and supports our nation’s military Families of the Fallen; builds resilience and common bonds in communities worldwide recovering from tragedies; and keeps the promise to support all those impacted by Tuesday, September 11th.

Army Medicine

Army Medicine is the Nation’s premier expeditionary and globally integrated medical force ready to meet the ever-changing challenges of today and tomorrow.

The Performance Triad is a comprehensive U.S. Army initiative that gets back to the basics of health: sleep, activity, and nutrition. It is being rolled out as part of the System for Health and is designed to build and sustain Soldier health in order to optimize personal and unit performance, resilience, and readiness.

PsychArmor

PsychArmor Institute is a national nonprofit that provides FREE online education and support for all Americans to effectively engage with the military community. Real Warriors Campaign

The Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE) oversees the Real Warriors Campaign and mission as part of the Defense Department’s overall effort to promote a culture of support for psychological health. PHCoE’s mission is to improve the lives of our nation’s service members, veterans and families by advancing excellence in psychological health care and prevention of psychological health disorders.

Your Soldier Your Army, a popular free booklet for Army families published by the AUSA, has been updated and is now available in print and online. Written by Vicki Cody, an author, Army wife of 33 years and mother to two active-duty soldiers with families of their own, Your Soldier Your Army—A Family Guide has been updated to include her perspective as a parent and reflections of her time as an Army wife.
