Government Contracting

Government procurement, also known as government purchasing, is the procurement of goods and services by government agencies. This is to say, government agencies are soliciting the public business sector for the goods and services they provide. This is a very formal process that is required by law, in which government agencies issue bid proposals and seek responses from companies. In this training session we will discuss the importance of fully understanding the Procurement process if you want to do business with the Federal Government.

Topics the audience will be introduced to include:

  • Learn the Acquisition Language
  • What the regulations say – Procurement Integrity Act and the FAR
  • Understand the roles of the different parties involved
  • Procurement Procedures
