Lyndale 2021

Sunday, October 10th from 11AM-5PM
Lyndale Ave S from 22nd St W to 54th St W

Open Streets Minneapolis back on Lyndale this year!

We are happy to welcome everyone back this year. More than a street festival, Open Streets Minneapolis brings together communities to temporarily close part of Lyndale Ave S to car traffic. The street will be completely open for people to explore their communities in a whole new way.

Volunteers make this event possible! Sign up to volunteer here.

There will be over 120 vendors, artists, entertainers, and more along the route!

The map here shows featured programming and vaccination sites. View a full map of the route below or click here. Note that the map may change slightly prior to the event.

Enjoy a free ride from Metro Transit

Use this pass on Oct. 10th for a free Metro Transit ride to and from the event. It's valid on any Metro Transit bus or train.

Stay safe at Open Streets Minneapolis

The health of our communities is of the highest priority to Our Streets Minneapolis. Health care experts, including the CDC, say that gathering outdoors is one of the safest ways to interact with your community during the pandemic.

To slow the spread further, Our Streets Minneapolis recommends that all Open Streets Minneapolis attendees are vaccinated to protect against COVID-19. We also ask that all participants and attendees, regardless of vaccination status, be mindful of maintaining social distance and bring a mask to wear in crowded areas or enclosed spaces. We request that unvaccinated persons please wear a mask at all times when attending Open Streets Minneapolis events.
