Intellectual Property for Startups – IP and Venture Fundraising

How do you apply or secure your IP?

Join us for a panel discussion with Chris Franich, intellectual property attorney, Bardia Moayedi, corporate start-up and venture capital attorney, and Eddie Rodriguez, Partner at Teal Ventures, to discuss the important role that intellectual property protection can play in securing venture capital and other funding for your emerging growth company.

This year-long monthly series targeted to startups and small businesses. Sessions will cover the essentials of intellectual property protection, factors to consider in developing an effective IP strategy, and how to maximize the value of IP capital in your business. Attendees will gain knowledge about IP assets including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, for both the U.S. and International markets. After each session, business owners will have a basic understanding of what each IP asset is, when to file, and how to enforce it. Additional sessions will focus on licensing and monetizing your IP to create value for your company and investors.
