Welcome!

Welcome to West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service's (WSFRS) Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) 2022 - 2026.

It’s our job as a fire and rescue service to understand and manage risks. This helps us to work out where we need our staff and resources, so we can respond to high risk incidents and plan how to deliver our vital prevention and protection work.

Our CRMP identifies and assesses all foreseeable fire and rescue related risks that could affect our community. Once we have identified these risks, we look at the resources we have in place and the activity we need to undertake to meet these risks and develop plans to improve safety.

Following an extensive public consultation on six proposals, we have analysed the responses and feedback we received and used it to inform our CRMP. An analysis of this feedback can be found here.
