    Minnesota Management and Budget is looking for a master relationship builder and leader for their Health Policy Director position!   The Health Policy Director exists to provide leadership, strategic vision, and coordination of state policy and budget priorities that impact the health of Minnesotans. This role leads the Health Cabinet policy development, policy coordination, and public engagement strategy, and requires vision and execution in centering the health of Minnesotans in policy, budget, and administration complexities across interagency priorities.   The Health Cabinet is responsible for setting the health care agenda for the Walz/Flanagan administration, including developing statewide strategies and tactics as well as agency cross-functional partnerships with community and stakeholders. This position helps ensure that the agency meets its obligations in managing state and other funds in a manner that is consistent with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and policies. This position will develop expert level knowledge of the agency’s budget to provide high-level analysis and expert advice on fiscal questions, review and monitor budgets for all OCM funds, prepare and interpret budget related reports, advise agency personnel on procedures, and coordinate fiscal year end closing requirements as it relates to all assigned agency funding.
