Lake Carl Blackwell Report

Apr 20. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal (rising), water temperature 58°F and murky.

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel Fair on cut bait, shad, shrimp around channels, creek channels, flats, points, shorelines.

Saugeye Fair on jigs, plastic baits, small lures around points, riprap, rocks.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Excellent on hair jigs, jigs, minnows around brush structure, docks.

Comments: The fishing will slow down because of the rain and may take a few days to pick back up. Lake temperatures and Lake levels will also fluctuate in the next few days.
