Description
The Missoula County Open Lands Citizen Advisory Committee [OLC] advises the Missoula Board of County Commissioners and represents the citizens of Missoula County in the protection and preservation of open space and the rural way of life for present and future generations.

Composition
Board Composition
The board is comprised of 13 voting members
* Three-year terms. Will be limited to three (3) consecutive, 3-year terms for a total of nine (9) years.
* Term limits take affect for all members starting Sept. 2012.
* Partial terms and time served as an alternate member will not count against the term limit.
* Up to two non-voting alternates
* Up to two technical advisors (non-voting & non members) At least eight will reside in rural areas (representing all eight planning regions outside urban Missoula).
* At least five shall be representatives of farming/ranching/timber interests.
* All appointments are made by the Missoula County Commissioners.
