2023-24 Meal Prices
The a la carte items below may be purchased using cash or charging to a school meal account if there are sufficient funds in the account. Information about setting up and managing school meal accounts can be found below.
*A la carte items with asterisk: Students can only purchase one per day at elementary and middle schools. Pre-Payment Options- OnlineOnline payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your student's account, 24 hours a day, at your convenience!
Pre-Payment Options- Cash or Check Cash or checks may also be used to place money on a student's meal account. Cash or checks must be given to the school's Food Service Manager. Checks must be payable to “Prince William County School's Food and Nutrition Department.” We recognize that occasionally a parent may inadvertently overdraw a checking account and a check may be returned by the bank. If a check is returned by the bank, the amount of the check will be removed from the student's account – potentially resulting in a negative balance for the student's account. No fee will be charged by Prince William County Public Schools for processing the returned check. We will make every attempt to handle these situations in a private and professional manner.
Cafeteria Transfer Funds / Refund RequestsIf relocating from our district, we have multiple options available for remaining cafeteria balances.
Account balances for students remaining in the school district for the next school year will stay on their account and will be available for them to use on the first day of school.
2023-2024 Community Eligibility ProvisionStudents who attend a school that falls under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) will receive free breakfast and lunch during the 2023-24 school year. See list of CEP schools below: |
