In 2025, Humanities Texas will hold in-person and online programs for classroom teachers covering topics in U.S. history, government, Texas history, and English language arts.


On April 8, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Austin on twentieth-century Texas history.

On April 24, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Dallas for English language arts teachers on teaching contemporary popular literature at the secondary level. 

From June 3–6, 2025, Humanities Texas will partner with Texas Tech University to hold a professional development institute for Texas teachers on U.S history from 1980 to 2008.

From June 9–12, 2025, Humanities Texas will partner with The University of Texas at Austin to hold a professional development institute for Texas teachers on best practices and new resources for teaching writing.

From June 16–18, 2025, Humanities Texas will partner with the University of North Texas to hold a professional development institute for Texas teachers on Texas history from 1900–1950.

From June 24–27, 2025, Humanities Texas will partner with the University of Houston to hold a professional development institute for Texas teachers on teaching twentieth-century U.S. literature.
