We previously shared an overview of the timeline for how we'll test and implement our new regulatory approach.
We are currently reviewing this timeline.
It’s important to make sure we are doing the right things at the right times, and that we adapt our new approach along the way.
We are using what we’ve learnt from the work so far to ensure that our plan is achievable and reliable. We will share a fully revised schedule for implementing the changes soon.
We've published two new blogs in our series exploring the work we've done over the last year to transform how we work and realise the ambitions of our strategy.
In her latest blog Lucy Wilkinson, Head of Equality, Health Inequalities and Human Rights, talks about the range of work we're doing to tackle inequalities in health and care settings.
In a second blog, Chris Day, Director of Engagement, talks about how we're putting people and communities at the heart of all our work.
In our latest bitesize videos Chris Day, Director of Engagement at CQC talks about how we are seeking to improve the way in which we engage with people and communities in our work moving forward.
In a separate video Mark Sutton our Chief Digital Officer talks about why we don't need to be afraid of technology and data. He discusses the work we've done over the last year, and our ambitions for how technology and data can improve people's experience of regulation in the future.
We’re making updates to the reports we publish on health and social care providers. These updates include the layout on our website, sections and information on how we've assessed providers.
These changes are part of the work we’re doing to meet our strategy ambitions and reflect the way people use services through our regulation.
We'd like your feedback to help shape this work.
You can find more detail on our proposed changes and a survey to share your thoughts on our digital engagement platform, CitizenLab (you'll need to sign up / log in to access this).
For more detail on how we're proposing to change the way we publish assessments you can watch back a recording from a recent webinar where we describe what might change and why.
After watching the video please share your thoughts through a short survey.
Over the next few weeks we'll continue to publish more information on our website about our new regulatory model.
Our 'How we will regulate' landing page has the links to the latest information.
There are ongoing opportunities to shape how CQC works on our digital engagement platform CitizenLab.
