Copan Lake Report

May 5. Elevation is 3.5 ft. above normal (falling), water temperature 62°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level)

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel Good on crawfish, shad, sunfish, worms around channels, coves, creek channels, dam, discharge, shorelines, tailwater, other.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on hair jigs, minnows, PowerBait, tube jigs around brush structure, coves, creek channels, shorelines.

Comments: Water levels fluctuate with daily rainfall. Fishing below the dam is picking up and will steadily get better as water continues to be released.
