In this webinar, representatives from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Council of State Governments Justice Center will review the FY24 Second Chance Act Improving Adult and Youth Crisis Stabilization and Community Reentry Program application process.

Through this opportunity, BJA is seeking applications for funding to state, local, and tribal governments, as well as community-based nonprofit organizations, to enhance or implement clinical services and other evidence-based responses to improve reentry, reduce recidivism, and address the treatment and recovery needs of people with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders who are currently involved in the criminal justice system or were formerly involved. It is anticipated that this grant program will provide up to 10 awards of up to $750,000 each for a 36-month project.

To use the time most efficiently, BJA encourages participants to review the solicitation and submit any questions in advance, and no later than March 11, 2024, to [email protected] with the subject “Questions for BJA FY24 Improving Adult and Youth Crisis Stabilization and Community Reentry Program Webinar.”
