Everyone's Got Talent: inclusive event celebrates abilities, promotes awareness in Ohio Valley
The ARC of Ohio's Everyone’s Got Talent, an inclusion event, is returning to the Ohio Valley Aug. 5 at the St. Clairsville Rec Center Amphitheater.
BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — The ARC of Ohio's Everyone’s Got Talent, an inclusion event, is returning to the Ohio Valley Aug. 5 at the St. Clairsville Rec Center Amphitheater.
Acts are already getting prepared for the full day of events that will include food, live performances and activities; all part of the goal of raising awareness of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities
"It really builds their confidence and their skills,” ARC of Ohio Regional Director Kara Erwin said. “We try to make it fun out in the festival part so people/contestants on stage don't get stage fright. They just want to be highlighted in a positive way and it makes them feel really good.”
Acts include dancers, singers, comedians, a fashion show, karate, guitarists and more.
