Fiscal Year 2020 Notices of Funding Opportunities for Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grants

The fiscal year 2020 (FY 2020) application period for the Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) for the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) grant program and the new Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) pre-disaster mitigation grant programs opened on Sept. 30, 2020, and closed at 3 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2021.

On July 1, 2021, FEMA announced the subapplications selected for the $700 million being made available in FY 2020 for the BRIC and FMA grant programs. This announcement was not an award; it was a decision on the status of all subapplications.
