Survey: Pretest of Contents - UNESCO's 'KNOW Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)' Mobile Application

By taking part in this survey, you are helping to validate the content developed for a 'KNOW DRR' mobile application by The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

The content of the UNESCO’s “KNOW-DRR' application consist of a 100 multi-choice questions to educate and raise the awareness of people (especially young people) on how to reduce their risk to causal factors of disasters as well as respond appropriately and recover fast from disasters. In addition, the content will touch on relevant development agendas linked to DRR and their custodian institutions.

*The first 20 Questions are for Level one (1). This level focuses on basics in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)

*The Second set of 20 Questions are for Level two (2). This level builds on builds on Level one and shows the impacts and inter-linkages between DRR, Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

*The Third set of 20 Questions are for level three (3). This Level focuses on actions that young people can take to support society’s effort to reduce its risk to Disasters.

*The forth set of 20 Questions are for level quatre (4). This Level focuses on the inter-linkages amongst international frameworks on DRR, Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

*The fifth set of 20 Questions are for level five (5). This Level focuses on advanced knowledge and concepts in DRR.
