Devon and Cornwall Police are aiming to build more resilient communities, help support vulnerable people and reduce policing demand in Devon, Cornwall, Plymouth and Isles of Scilly by funding not-for-profit organisations and community groups through Crowdfunder. This means that you must set up a Crowdfunding project, raise 25% of your initial target by collecting donations and then you can be eligible for match funding of up to 50% of what you’ve raised (up to £5,000).
The organisation must be associated with one or more of the following outcomes:
- supporting vulnerable people
- tackling social isolation
- building local capacity and resilience
- supporting community safety (and in so doing, result in the reduction of demand on frontline emergency services)
- demonstrate added benefit for the county, for example using local providers or developing the skills of local people
*At least 75% of the people benefiting from your project should live in Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.
