Spring 2024 National Network Conversation: Equity and inclusion

Tuesday 23rd April 9:15am – 12.30pm

This online National Network Conversation will focus on supporting practitioners to reflect on how Curriculum for Wales can support equity and inclusion,  overcoming barriers that can limit learner progression, and ensuring the education of all learners is seen as having equal importance throughout the 3-16 continuum.

It will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Discuss what equity and inclusion mean to you, your school/setting and what they mean for your curriculum.

  • Discuss planning and designing,  learning and teaching that support inclusion and equity .

  • Share your approaches to ensuring that your curriculum meets the needs of all learners  including, but not limited to, children living in poverty, learners with ALN, neurodivergent learners, more able and talented learners, care-experienced children, young carers, children who experience discontinuity in their schooling, children from minority ethnic groups including Gypsy, Roma and Traveller, children with English as an additional language (EAL), and disabled children.

  • Talk about additional support that could help improve equity and inclusion in your school/setting.

Please register here for the event here for Tuesday 23rd April 9:15am – 12.30pm.

We look forward to seeing you on the 23rd!
