As a IT Specialist, you will serves as the senior information technology (IT), security expert for identity, credential, and access management within the Office of Government-wide Policy and directs the coordination of a wide range of major policy initiatives associated with Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) and related IT security policy objectives for the Federal government.

The GS-15salary range starts at $109,366 per year.

To qualify, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the four competencies AND one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service as described below:
IT SPECIALIST COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized experience is defined as experience applying IT security policies, concepts, practices, and emerging issues, and project management methods and concepts sufficient to planning, coordinating and implement agency wide, government wide or equivalent IT security strategies and programs to ensure protection of IT assets and infrastructure. This experience includes defining objectives, interpreting policies and determining their effect on program needs, developing and leading major IT security initiatives and providing program management and oversight.
