dav patriot boot camp logo lockupThe next DAV Patriot Boot Camp will be held October 20-22, 2022. This intensive training program helps empower Veterans and the military community (including spouses) to pursue their dreams of founding a venture. Training and meals are provided at no-cost for a cohort of up to 50 participants.

Attendees will have access to world-class speakers, high-quality mentorship and a community of experts dedicated to assisting Veterans, military members and spouses at no cost. Applications are required and will be accepted through August 29, 2022. Ideal candidates for this event are founders of startups who have established federal Employer Identification Numbers and websites, though all who apply will be considered. Ventures with a technology focus will benefit most from the experience.

All applicants will receive guidance and resources about other training opportunities and benefits. Selected participants will be notified by September 2.

To apply, visit www.patriotbootcamp.org.

Boot camp seeking mentors

The program also seeks mentors, with or without a military background, with specific skills that assist startup entrepreneurs. Those include but are not limited to backgrounds in business leadership, finance, marketing, scaling, team building and legal. Those interested in supporting the program as mentors can email info@patriotbootcamp.org.

Patriot Boot Camp was founded in 2012 by three civilian tech-focused entrepreneurs who believed they could do more to support the Veteran and military connected community.

The program has provided in-person and virtual boot camps for more than 1,000 entrepreneurs since its founding. Its alumni have raised more than $150 million in venture capital and employ over 1,900 individuals.

About DAV

DAV empowers Veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: keeping our promise to America’s Veterans. DAV does this by ensuring that Veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill, providing employment resources to Veterans and their families, and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of Veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a nonprofit organization with more than 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932. Learn more at DAV.org.
