Project Backboard, Minnesota Timberwolves Coach Ryan Saunders, and Streeter Custom Builder are teaming together to propose working with a local artist to transform the current outdoor basketball court at Phelps Field Park (39th & Chicago Ave So) into a large-scale art piece honoring this community’s rich heritage and vibrancy. We are partnering with Southside Boys & Girls Club and hope to complete it by summer of next year (2021). We’d like to know what you think. Please share your thoughts below!
