Fountains from the north vent are reaching heights of around 100 feet (30 meters) and are increasing as episode 12 continues at 2:17 pm HST on March 4. Small overflows are also continuing from the south vent with very little fountaining. View All Messages.

Lava began erupting from the north vent at 1:46 pm HST March 4 together with the continuing flows from the south vent. These are slow moving degassed lava that is being expelled from the vents prior to the onset of fountains. View All Messages.
